IP Inventory is a unique application designed specifically for maintaining, displaying & Inventory of the hardware and software configurations of the computers from a Local Area Network.
After gathering all configuration data from the network clients, IPInventory can create complex reports, highlighting the software licenses exceeding the licensing period and displaying detailed information about the hardware and software configuration of each of the network client found in the selected IP range as well as Performing Network Inventory-Audits on demand.
The IPInventory tool is made up by two separate parts: the Server and the Client. The IPInventory Server monitors all computers and network devices in the selected IP range, querying them on fixed time intervals and checking their online presence. The IPInventory Client must be installed on each PC in the selected IP range in order to retrieve hardware and software configuration data. Also, the IPInventory Server feature Agentless query allows you to gather software and hardware information from a remote machine that does not have the IPInventory client installed.

Technical Requirements and Notes:
IPInventory V1.3 consists of two modules: client and server. Both of them can be installed and used on any Windows platform (Win98, WinNT, WinMe, Win2000 and WinXP).
The IPInventory Server version is designed to be used by the Administrator of your LAN, while the IPInventory Client version can be installed on every other computer from your local network. Please allow some time for the server to query every computer from your network.
For testing purposes, you can install both the IPInventory Server and Client versions on the same computer.
